Syntax takes second at PAX

Syntax of Gaming placed second in the Penny Arcade Expo CSS tournament!

Unfortunately due to poor planning on the part of the tournament admins, we were not allowed to play for first place because the building was going to close.

You guys tied for second at PAX.

Team Nub (pug with one active CSS player, two inactive, one console gamer, and one pubby nub) took SOG to triple overtime on Dust2 and due to time constraints it was declared a tie.

It was double elim but tourney was cut short so winners bracket finalists were given first, Nub/SOG were given a tie for second.

We won stuff too!

I lost a 1 v 1 on short in D2. I had the bomb and was hiding behind a box. I heard him running from platform and peaked up and sprayed at head level. I think I hit his left and right shoulders barely missing his head and he either no scoped HS me or it was a running scoped HS from about 10 feet.

That round still pisses me off. Though I made it up with a 1 v 1 with Pno when bomb was planted and I killed him from B tunnels. I also had a pretty sick door shot from tuns to double doors. Once Pno was down the round was essentially ours.
